Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is one of the greatest innovations of the cosmetic dental world, able to remove stains and discolouration to enhance and rejuvenate your face and smile.

What can teeth whitening treat?

Tooth staining can occur due to many day-to-day habits, which may involve tea, coffee or smoking. A teeth whitening session can remove these stains and brighten your teeth for a stunning, glossy smile.

Before After

How does it work?

An in-practice whitening session combines bleaching gel and an activator light, to both lift stains and enhance the colour of your teeth. Treatment time is only one hour and your teeth can be up to 7 shades whiter after one whitening session.

Will it damage my teeth?

Teeth whitening provided in a dental practice is monitored and assessed, so only the best products and the correct amounts are used during your treatment. There may be some mild sensitivity after your whitening session, but this will disappear after a few days.

How long will it last?

The amount of time your gorgeous white smile remains is up to you, though whitening treatment can last for many years if you stick to a good daily hygiene routine and cut out excessive consumption of tea, coffee and wine and quit smoking. Whitening can also be topped up every few years, but it is recommended that you leave 6 months between whitening treatments.
