My Six Month Smiles Journey 1

Hi Everyone, My name is Jo and I’m the Treatment Coordinator at Natural Smiles in Leicester, today I have started my Six Month Smile Treatment with Dr. Raja and I’m going to be sharing my journey with you all.

Over the past 10 years I have noticed that my lower teeth have become very crowded and that my top teeth are not in line with each other, after a lot of thought and an informative consultation with Dr Raja regarding all the different treatment options available, I have decided to go ahead with Six Month Smile. I chose Six Month Smile because I like how discreet it looks and the fact that it is a fixed appliance fits in well with my lifestyle and as the name suggests the treatment is a lot quicker than other options (varies person to person).

Although I like my smile I am still conscious of the positioning of my teeth and can’t wait to have a perfect smile!

My first appointment took about 45 minutes, during this appointment I had photos taken and my braces were fitted while watching Home Alone on the tv on the ceiling above me! Dr. Raja advised me what foods and drinks to avoid and some useful hints and tips.

When my braces were first fitted there was a small amount of aching that a couple of Ibuprofen soon sorted out, I was also given some wax to apply to the brackets if they were rubbing on the inside of my cheeks and lips
