Invisalign®, Corby

Invisalign® is one of the most discreet invisible brace treatments available and uses completely clear aligners to move your teeth while remaining completely unnoticed. The aligners are also removable, which means better oral hygiene than most braces and more flexibility, allowing you to eat, drink, and socialise easily.

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign® consists of a series of discreet aligners that are replaced every 2 weeks to move your teeth into the desired position progressively. Each aligner is custom-made in accordance with your orthodontic prescription, dental impressions, and photographs so your treatment is completely bespoke and provides optimum results.

What conditions can Invisalign® Corby treat?

Invisalign® Corby can correct a range of orthodontic concerns, including overbites, underbites, crossbites, gaps, crowded teeth, and crooked teeth. However, if your orthodontic condition is more complex or severe, we may recommend fixed braces instead. We will discuss your suitability for Invisalign® during your initial consultation.

How long does Invisalign® Corby treatment take?

Invisalign® can straighten your teeth in as little as 3 months, although treatment times vary depending on your individual orthodontic needs. In some cases, treatment can take up to 3 years. For the best possible results, we recommend wearing your Invisalign® aligners for at least 22 hours a day to maintain consistent treatment progress.

Is Invisalign® treatment painful?

All orthodontic treatment comes with some discomfort, but Invisalign® Corby is one of the gentlest brace treatments available, and any problems will disappear after a few days.

What can Invisalign® fix?

Crowded teeth

Crowded teeth is a condition in which you don't have enough room for your teeth to fit normally. This can cause plaque, tartar, and other harmful bacteria to build up, making it harder to brush and floss well.

Gaps between teeth

Gaps between teeth are when there is extra space between two or more of your teeth. This can cause pockets between your teeth and gums and can cause food to get stuck, making them tender and sore. This might also lead to gum disease.

Open bite

An open bite is when your upper teeth can't touch when you close your mouth. An open bite can make it hard to chew or even bite into common food, like apples.

Underbite

An underbite is when you close your mouth and your lower front teeth are in front of your upper teeth. In many cases, this is because your lower jaw is too far forward. An underbite can make it hard to chew properly and speak clearly, and it might cause your teeth to wear down more quickly.

Overbite

An overbite is when your upper front teeth overlap with your lower front teeth. Most people have at least a little overbite. When your overbite is too large, your doctor might tell you you have a deep bite. This can cause problems, from tooth wear to jaw pain.

Crossbite

A crossbite is when you close your mouth, and some of your upper teeth sit outside your lower teeth. A crossbite can make your teeth wear down or chip. It can also cause your gums to recede or form small notches above your gum line. This kind of damage can lead to painful gum problems or even bone loss.
