If you have lost a tooth or a number of teeth due to decay, an accident or gum disease, dental implants can fill in those missing gaps and create a complete, restored and functional smile.

How Do Dental Implants Work?

Dental implant restorations are comprised of an implant, which is placed into the jawbone; an abutment added to the top of the implant; and a crown, or other replacement fixture, fitted to the abutment. As dental implants not only replace the missing tooth but also the missing root, they are a great deal more effective and longer-lasting than bridges or denture treatments.

How Long Does It Take To Receive Dental Implants in Leicester & Corby?

As dental implants require some dental drill treatment, a healing period is required before the abutment and restoration can be fitted to the implant. The usual healing time is between 3 and 6 months, which allows the implant and jawbone to completely fuse for a strong, stable base that can last you a lifetime.

What If I Have Low or Decreased Bone Density?

We provide bone grafting treatments at our Leicester and Corby clinics for patients with low bone density, helping to strengthen the jawbone in preparation for dental implants. While this treatment may not be suitable for everyone, if dental implants are not an option for you, we can recommend a range of other effective restorative solutions.

Can Only Single Teeth Be Replaced?

Dental implants can be used to replace an entire set of teeth if it is the case that you have suffered complete tooth loss. In the case of complete restorations, between 4 and 6 implants will be strategically fitted into your jawbone, which will then hold dentures or bridges to restore your smile.

There are not enough good things that I can say about all of the staff at natural smiles. They all showed me the greatest amount of kindness and consideration, despite some problems with the lab work, they continued to work on the dentures till they were completed to their and my own satisfaction. When l went to Natural Smiles l had a specific dental problem that l wanted to be corrected. They gave me a very detailed examination and then listed all the treatments they could offer to give me the perfect set of teeth. I was able to discuss and chose which treatments l did and didn’t want with absolutely no pressure. I also have the option to have other treatments further down the line if l so wish. My Dentist was Shena Amin she was very kind, gentle and professional. I am extremely happy with all the dental work l have received and the end result. Highly recommend Natural Smiles, as a child I had some bad experiences with dentists that left me terrified of them and I avoided seeing one at all costs.But I knew I couldn't avoid them forever so after seeing the excellent reviews for Natural Smiles I made an appointment for a check up and it's one of the best things I have ever done.I saw Wahhab who was brilliant about my anxiety with no judgement at all about my dental neglect, he is really friendly with a calm manner that puts you at ease.Had a little bit of work done to get things back in good shape, virtually no pain at all and each visit has been a really positive experience.I have gone from being terrified of seeing a dentist to now finding it a relaxing and pleasant experience, something I never expected!Also a word for the rest of the team there, they are all so friendly, helpful and always smiling, its a pleasure visiting them.

Booked into Natural Smiles in Corby for a consultation with Viran as one of my crowns was loose and the root was fractured so therefore unable to save it. After a very thorough check up and scans, x-rays carried out, a plan was set up to start me on my way for a new smile to help me feel so much better in my self regarding my teeth. My goodness I am so happy I took their advice and now I feel so much more confident in how I look and feel about myself. I came to Natural Smiles to see Anisha. For an emergency appointment. Highly anxious and nervous. I was immediately put at ease the moment I walked through the door. Reception staff were extremely friendly. I was then greeted by Katie. Who took me through to the room and introduced me to Anisha. They both explained what was going to happen. I then felt relaxed and at ease. The nursing team was very quick and efficient also kept checking to make sure I was ok through the process. I would highly recommend using Natural Smiles going forward.

I have been with Natural Smiles from the day they opened and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. In April 2020 I was referred to Dr Bhavnish Waghela at Natural Smiles because my top front 4 tooth removable bridge had worn out and was affecting my eating, talking and confidence in smiling.From my first appointment the whole process to replace my old bridge with a fixed unit using my original supporting implants was carried out in a totally professional manner. Natural Smiles have been amazing for me, I was so nervous at my first appointment but they were very calm and reassuring. When I actually had dental work done they were great, my teeth have always made me so self conscious and going to the dentist gave me huge anxiety but by the end I actually looked forward to my appointments! Dr. Bhavnish Waghela is a magician. The assistant is a fairy. I'm serious (well, almost, because I don't believe in miracles), but I cannot completely understand how someone can go in with one tooth and leave with another that looks completely natural — the tooth itself, the gums around it. It's magic as it is.My problem was a decayed tooth under a crown — my upper front tooth, the one I dreaded being without. Since the adjacent teeth are also under crowns, an implant was my only option, and naturally, a terrifying one. In an hour and 20 minutes, the doctor removed the problem tooth, installed an implant, and placed a temporary crown. The temporary crown looks so good like it doesn't even need to be replaced.It's clear this isn't a procedure you'd undergo for pleasure, but I deeply regret wasting so much time worrying about it. Basically, from your first visit, you realize you're dealing with a professionals. The clinic has excellent technical equipment, but the most important thing is the doctor's hands, knowledge, and experience. What else? The clinic itself has a very relaxing atmosphere with a wonderful staff who treat you more like a friend they want to help than a patient.

Had 4 veneers done a couple of months ago by Dr anmol after 30 years of not being able to smile and feeling insecure, I can now smile.. I never thought I'd see the day. I was super worried they would look like turkey teeth and was over the moon when I seen how natural they look. Everyone in the dentist is super kind and welcoming and made me feel at ease. I couldn't recommend this dentist enough. Only downside is you only get a year warranty, other than that I'm very happy with my result.

Nothing but good things to say about the practice!! Had my initial consultation with Kizzy who sat down with me, took note of everything I wanted to change and talked me through my options. I opted for composite bonding and fillings done with Dr Bal - I am absolutely over the moon with my new smile. The whole process was smooth sailing from start to finish and I really appreciated the transparency throughout. All options were thoroughly discussed and I never felt pressured into making any decisions. Dr Bal’s work is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough. Wow, what can I say I am incredibly happy with my Enlighten Smile experience!! I was actually with a different dentist based in Leicester and came over to Natural Smiles after I was pushed and pushed to buy products I did not want or even need. I was completely put off until I was recommended to go to Natural Smiles. There was no selling of all the teeth procedures under the Sun but simply asked what I was comfortable doing to perfect my smile and they had my price range in mind.I wanted to have my teeth whitened for years and with my upcoming wedding in July I knew it was time to proceed. I was treated with care and smiling faces from the receptionist to the dentist. They cared about me and gave me guidance from start to finish! As someone who avoided dentists for 10+ years due to being slightly phobic I absolutely cannot rate the team at Natural Smiles highly enough. Friendly and welcoming reception staff, comforting and efficient dentists and a clean and warm surgery overall. I’ve been with them for years now and can’t imagine ever going elsewhere.

I didn't visit the dentist for 17yrs due to a phobia. Although my teeth were okay I had gum disease. I decided to have Invisaligns and 4 veneers on the top set of teeth. Dr Waghela put me completely at ease through the whole process which took about a year all together. I'm over the moon with the results. My teeth look so natural. I never used to smile in photos but now I'll be smiling like a Cheshire cat! Thanks to the whole team at Natural Smiles. I would highly recommend them. Andy Clarke.

Having spent most of my lifetime in a dental practice, I was apprehensive when I needed private treatment for some dental implants to replace quite a few missing teeth. Dr Bhavnish has been nothing but amazing! He explained the process thoroughly, addressed any concerns and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. The aftercare has been fabulous too. I would recommend him and his practice with my eyes closed.

After a poor experience with an NHS practice, I decided to give Natural Smiles Leicester a call, after a referral from a friend. The entire staff are fantastic and although I am nervous of the dentist, I found everyone welcoming and professional, from the time I walked in, and throughout my treatment. The office is always clean and welcoming and I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Bal and her team.

My initial consultation was a couple of years ago before Covid began so my journey from start to finish was pretty long. During this time the amazing staff at Natural Smiles kept in constant contact with me and Kizzy was exceptional and professional in dealing with all of my questions and schedules for treatment. Dr Waghela is by far the best dentist I have ever dealt with and the results he’s achieved are outstanding. I’m so happy with my new bridge and veneers it looks stunning, I can’t stop showing off my Natural Smile. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cosmetic practice to anyone looking for great results and a for a company that treat you like a film star.

Had a great experience! Everybody was super friendly and I was in a lot of pain following my wisdom tooth dramas but thanks to these guys I was fine within a day or so! Thank you for the super fast service and availability and continue being awesome! :)

Amazing place i am really happy i came to natural smiles. Dr Anubha Pareek is really friendly and puts you at ease straight away. You even get to watch netflix whilst you have your treatments! Anubha and her assistant are amazing. Many thanks :-)

After years of having an uneven smile and consultations with different dental practices, I came across Natural smiles. Dr Waghela went through the options I had, took into consideration how I felt about each treatment option and was able to recommend which would work best for me. The treatment was exactly how he explained and immediately I could see results. Overall I am extremely happy with the result and it turned out exactly how I wanted. I would definitely recommend anyone to visit this practice, as all staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Dr Waghela took the time to understand what my issue was and really made a difference!
