How Much Does It Cost For Inman Aligner In UK?
31st August 2020
Self-consciousness is a natural result of all the lookism that pervades modern society.
Supernormal stimuli abound, in the form of corporate advertisement, and now through the heavily-edited optics of social media.
Those perfectly photogenic Instagram influencers do play their part in the social game.
At ground level, this is seen in the aesthetic standards in your social circle. Fashion and personal care are immediate mediums through which we influence each other.
You’ll look for those high-waist trousers you saw on your friend — that are en vogue. Or you’ll both get the same type of hairstyling and skincare treatments.
It’s not all bad.
Some of these standards serve a practical objective.
They didn’t just come into being from mere vanity. They came from the necessity of personal health and hygiene.

Hair needs to be clean, sweet-smelling and flowing. Almost like liquid. Skin needs to be lustrous and fertilized with essential oils.
And your teeth need to be as even and symmetrical as possible — more pertinently, the six front teeth, also called the “social six.”
What’s the practical purpose of even front teeth? It’s not like you can’t chew food if your teeth were crooked, right?
Not exactly. For one, fluctuations in the frontline of your teeth can cause either extreme overbite or underbite. The former is when your lower teeth clench well in front of the upper teeth. The latter is when they clench well behind the upper teeth.
This can cause complications while eating.
A crowded front line of teeth also looks ugly.
What Can Fix Uneven Teeth?
Orthodontic measures to straighten and correct crowding and crooked teeth come in two main types – traditional and modern methods.
- Traditional measures
- Metal braces
- Clear braces
- Damon braces
- Lingual braces
- Modern measures
- Clear Aligners

Advantages of Clear Aligners
- Cost: Clear aligners tend to cost less than traditional braces.
- Convenience: They also have direct-to-consumer options that allow the customer to send the selling company molds of their teeth. These molds are then used to build a custom-made clear aligner. A remote evaluation is also available. Clear aligners don’t need in-office
- treatments with orthodontists as much as a traditional treatment.
- Speed: Clear aligners are usually faster at doing their job. They take 8-16 weeks to align teeth if the user wears the aligner for a considerable amount of time every day.
- Risk: They also are less liable to cause complications such as root resorption.
- Removability: The Inman Aligner has the advantage of being removed when one doesn’t need to use it. This is hugely helpful. One can take it out before eating, brushing one’s teeth, and sleeping. One can also wash the aligner in a seamless manner.
Clear aligners come in many types. Examples are Invisalign aligner and Inman aligners. Invisalign aligners are a more expensive option, usually costing double of Inman Aligners, up to £4,000.
These products often come with professional assessments that cost £200-300.
It is advised one takes these assessments to confirm if one needs an aligner.
For the purposes of affordability, we will discuss the Inman Aligner further. It is an ideal choice for individuals who cannot afford lengthy, traditional treatments. Inman Aligners work through constant pressure applied on the teeth as seen here.
The Costs of Inman Aligners
- The whole treatment of the Inman Aligner can cost anything from £1,400 to £2,000 for a single arc of teeth.
- If one is correcting a double arc of teeth – i.e. the top and bottom front teeth – then it can cost as much as £3,200, including a full retainer and a full case assessment.
- Paid plans can also include a monthly 12-month plan with no interest or a monthly 60-month plan with 10% interest. For single arc treatment, it can costs £125 per month for a year or £29 per month for 60 months, at 10% interest.
What To Keep In Mind Before Buying?
There are important questions one must ask themselves before making a decision.
What is the main objective of the treatment?
Is it straightening your teeth for aesthetic purposes? For example an upcoming wedding? Is it because you have an overbite? Or an underbite? Does chewing your food have difficulties because of either? Do you also need whitening to go with it?
How much are you willing to pay?
Are you willing to try a treatment that includes a full assessment along with the Inman Aligner? Or have you already done an assessment with your dentist? Is it for your upper front teeth, lower front teeth, or both? To do both will cost double than that of either one.
Do you want to do the mold at home or at a company shop?
There are choices on how you can go about getting the treatment.
- You can call the company and request a mold taken at home. Company professionals will take a mold of your teeth at home and use it to create a custom-made aligner. They will send you the aligner and its retainers by mail. This method might cost more.
- Or you can go to the shop to get your mouth scanned in 3-D, with an intraoral scanner. They will garner a custom model of your mouth and either deliver or ask you to pick it up from an outlet in a few days.

Always Seek A Professional Opinion Before Purchase
Whether it’s a purchase through traditional methods or purchase at a shop offering direct-to-consumer options, always seek separate (or direct) professional help first through your family dentist or a company orthodontist.
Inman Aligners have been around since the late 2000s. They are known to be extremely effective over short periods of time and incredibly affordable given the other options. They solve issues of crowding, spacing, and evenness of the front teeth.
As time passes, improvements in this technology have led to fewer oral health problems in the process. It is now a great time in the field of orthodontics to exploit as a consumer! Happy shopping!
